DOCUMENTATION AUDITS

Some organizations have a difficult time improving documentation and it helps to have a consultant come in to review records.  It may be more difficult to make improvements from within the organization.  Documentation affects reimbursement and other required reporting causing the organization to not be as efficient as it could be.  

This is important for all organizations but especially those that have Article 28 certification.  These organizations are required to have documentation audits completed.     

Documentation is the base that everything in the organization works from.  If the documentation is not as complete or as accurate as it could be, the organization will not be as efficient as it could be.
